As a helpful tip, our bedspreads are made oversized to compensate for 5%-8% shrinkage of the natural fibers when washing. Shrinkage can be reduced by always washing in cold water and drying in low heat.

I am fed up with bed skirts. This bedspread solves the problem. It is medium weight which is perfect at our shore house. I took off one star based on fit. We have straight up twin beds, not extra sized mattresses, etc. it is short on the sides by maybe 6 inches. Still it is close enough to an old school bedspread to make me happy.

Great purchase
Great purchase. I have had it for a week so far so cannot comment about longevity. But it is really comfortable, soft and warm. Intended for a cold climate only, as others have said. Packaging was good as well. Took it right out and started using it immediately.
