Bath Rugs and Bath Mats
Almost every bathroom rug set here ships as a matched pair, so the rug at the shower and the rug at the vanity share the same weave and colour. The range covers three constructions: combed cotton rugs with non-slip backing, textured and tufted jacquard rugs, and dense double-sided terry bath mats at up to 1000 GSM. Three cotton designs also come as a single 24 x 60 inch runner.
- Combed cotton non-slip sets — absorbent cotton with a grip backing — Buy for a main bathroom used every day.
- Textured and tufted jacquard sets — more pattern and cushion underfoot — Buy for a rug that is part of the decor.
- High-GSM terry bath mats — dense floor towels with no rubber backing — Buy for stepping straight out of the shower.
- 24 x 60 inch runner — one long rug instead of two — Buy for a double vanity or galley bathroom.

How to Choose a Bath Rug
Start with the floor space. A 24 x 36 inch rug needs roughly three feet of clear floor to lie flat without catching the door. For a powder room, the Medium tufted sets are the smaller option.
Then pick the construction. Combed and Egyptian cotton is the most absorbent and quickest to dry. Tufted jacquard designs such as Myra, Brou and Ceton add pattern and cushion. High-GSM mats are denser and heavier than a standard rug.
Finally, check the backing. Tufted rugs generally grip slick tile; high-GSM mats have no rubber backing.

Care & Maintenance
- Check the label since backing and washability vary by design.
- Wash with your towels from our towel sets to keep colours matched.
- Machine wash washable rugs on a cold, gentle cycle.
- Dry on low heat or air dry; high dryer heat breaks down non-slip backing over time.
Frequently Asked Questions
What sizes do the bath rug sets come in?
Classic cotton and Large tufted sets pair a 20 x 30 and a 24 x 36 inch rug. Medium tufted sets pair 17 x 24 and 20 x 32 inches. Bath mat sets have two 22 x 35 inch mats, and a 24 x 60 inch runner comes in three designs.
What is the difference between a bath mat and a bath rug?
A bath mat is the denser terry piece you step onto out of the shower. A bath rug is the decorative, often tufted, piece at the vanity or tub.
Do the rugs have a non-slip backing?
Most do, including the combed cotton sets and the Rome, Troy and Reno sets. Flat-woven and high-GSM mats such as Nora and Leo have no rubber backing.
What does GSM mean on a bath mat?
GSM is grams per square metre, the standard measure of towelling density. Higher GSM means a heavier mat that holds more water. The mats here run to 900 and 1000 GSM.
Are these bath rugs machine washable?
Most are. Wash cold on a gentle cycle and use low heat or air dry to protect the backing.
