Blankets & Throws
Blankets and throws in two main fabric families. Woven 100% cotton blankets, including thermal basketweave and diamond, waffle, and textured chevron and stripe designs, are lightweight and breathable, and work alone in summer or layered in winter. Fleece blankets, including plush solid, embossed flannel fleece, sherpa-backed and textured fluffy fleece, are soft and warmer for their weight. There is also a reversible down alternative blanket. Most designs come in Throw through King.

How to Choose a Blanket or Throw
Choose the fiber first. Cotton breathes and suits people who sleep warm or want one blanket for every season. Fleece and sherpa hold more warmth for their weight and feel softer on the sofa.
Then choose the weave. Thermal and waffle weaves have open pockets that trap air, so they insulate without feeling heavy. Textured jacquards such as chevron and stripe are thinner and work as a decorative layer.
Size by use. A Throw suits a sofa or chair; for a bed, choose the bed size so the blanket covers the mattress edges. For a finished bed, pair a blanket with a quilt set or one of our comforters.

Frequently Asked Questions
Should I choose a cotton or fleece blanket?
Choose cotton if you sleep warm or want a breathable layer for every season. Choose fleece or sherpa for more warmth and a plush feel on the sofa.
What is a thermal blanket?
A thermal blanket has an open weave that traps air in small pockets, so it insulates while staying light and breathable.
What sizes do the blankets come in?
Most designs come in Throw through King. Some add Throw XL or California King.
Are the blankets machine washable?
Most are. Wash cold on a gentle cycle and dry on low, and check the care label on each blanket.
Can I use a cotton blanket in summer?
Yes. Lightweight cotton weaves such as waffle and thermal work alone on warm nights and layer under a comforter in winter.
