Sheer Curtains
Sheer curtains soften daylight instead of blocking it. Every set in this collection is two polyester panels with a stainless steel grommet header, mostly 52 inches wide, in lengths from 63 to 108 inches depending on the design. Patterns are either embroidered, such as damask, scroll, foliage, lattice and Moroccan trellis, or printed, such as geometric trellis and honeycomb. Hang them alone for daytime privacy with plenty of light, or behind heavier panels for a layered window.
- Embroidered sheers — stitched damask, scroll, foliage and trellis patterns on a see-through panel — Buy for texture and a traditional look.
- Printed sheers — geometric trellis and honeycomb prints — Buy for a flatter, more modern pattern.
- Dalisto braided-rope sheers — a woven textured stripe with a light shimmer — Buy for a subtle pattern that suits most rooms.
- Layering sheers — hung behind room darkening panels — Buy for daylight by day and a dim room at night from one window.

How to Choose Sheer Curtains
In daylight a sheer cuts glare and blurs the view in. At night, with lights on inside, shapes show through, so bedrooms usually need a second layer from our room darkening and blackout curtains.
Embroidery adds raised texture and reads traditional; prints are flatter and cleaner. For more cover with daylight, see the denser semi-sheer jacquard curtains.
Measure the rod, not the window: combined panel width should be 1.5 to 2 times the rod length.
What's in This Collection
- Construction: polyester, sold as sets of two panels.
- Header: stainless steel grommets, about 1.6 inches inside diameter, which fit most standard rods.
- Sizes: mostly 52 inches wide, with 42-inch panels in a few designs; 63, 84, 96 and 108 inch lengths.
- Patterns: embroidered damask, scroll, delicate flower, foliage, lattice and Moroccan trellis; printed geometric trellis and honeycomb; braided-rope texture.
Care & Maintenance
- Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, after checking the care label.
- Use a mesh laundry bag for embroidered panels so the stitching does not snag.
- Hang to dry and rehang slightly damp so creases fall out on the rod.
- Steam or iron on low if needed, with a cloth between the iron and the fabric.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do sheer curtains give privacy?
By day, yes. At night, with lights on inside, shapes show through, so pair them with room darkening panels.
What is the difference between sheer and semi-sheer curtains?
Sheer panels are light and see-through. Semi-sheer panels use a denser woven jacquard, so they filter more light and hide more of the room while still letting daylight in.
How many sheer panels do I need?
Most sets have two 52-inch panels. For a gathered look, the combined width should be about 1.5 to 2 times the rod length, so wide windows may need two sets.
Will the grommets fit my curtain rod?
The stainless steel grommets have an inside diameter of about 1.6 inches, which fits most standard curtain rods.
Can I layer sheer curtains with heavier curtains?
Yes. Hang sheers on the back rod of a double rod and room darkening panels in front.
