Worth every penny

For someone who is considering buying these for the first time, I am providing a review as someone who has owned 4+ sets of these for over 15 years. I just bought a new set, and still have/use my older sets daily.

To begin with, these sheets are both dense and VERY THICK. If you like thin, airy sheets, these are not the sheets for you. For anyone who lives in a cooler climate or likes their coverings to have some weight, these are arguably the best on the market. Do not get suckered in by cheaper sheets that claim to be 1500TC (looking at you Amazon); I have bought some of those and immediately sent them back for false advertising.

Second, because of their thickness, they can be a bit stiff initially (not scratchy!). However, they get softer and more pliable with age. After 15 years, these sheets STILL look brand new, including colors like sage and gold. We switch out & wash our sheets weekly. Other than being softer, they are remain thick and smooth; no tears, no pilling, no warping, and no fading.

A word of caution: Because of their thickness, these sheets can become very wrinkly, with set-in creases if they are not cared for properly. From personal experience, it's best to follow the washing instructions, then take them out of the dryer when they are still slightly damp and smooth them out on a flat surface (Or, better yet, hang them out to dry in the sunshine!). They can be ironed, and smooth out well, but ironing queen/king sheets is cumbersome, to say the least.

The only downside is that these sheets are not GOTS certified, but if they were it would likely price them out of most people's budget. That being said, after my recent order I can confirm that these are still the same wonderfully thick, smooth sheets I've owned since 2010.

TLDR; if you like thick sheets and want to buy a set that will last you a lifetime, then this is the 1500TC 100% Egyptian cotton sheet set for you!

Oh my god these are the best sheets I have bought. I’ve shopped around and nothing comes close to these. I just bought 3 more and going to buy some for gifts. If you like the very heavy duty quality sheets and sleeping in luxury you won’t be disappointed. I love these so much!
